To report the fault with the transformar

I had reported continuous sparks from the transformer around 02 hrs and the team only came around 20 hrs. So we had to endure the scary lightning sparks for the whole day with dimming lights

User's recommendation: It's better to turn off all the electrical appliances in the house because zesco faults sector are not quick to respond to calls made.

I did apply for power connection in 2020. Chased for the quotation to be generated and took about a year. I paid immediately the quotation was generated in 2021but to date, no connection have been done. Not even a pole has been dropped yet I see people who built before me and applied this year within our area being connected. Initially I was being told that zesco had no materials (poles) but shortly after material came and it was now an issue of the queue. Every week I go to check on them, the area manager ( in Livingstone) would tell me that I will see works by the following week and that the team is in my area. Our area is very small and see no activity of similar works going on yet a lie continues to be told. I wonder whether I am the one not understanding their language or it's something else. Do we all need to bribe someone to get that someone do his or her job? I don't this is the Zambia we all need. Above all, why collect money and not provide the service for years? Allow me to end here and thank you for this platform. Otherwise, you know by now how I feel

We have no power in my area from 18 and its only selected houses other houses have power How can I know whe am not zesco and my calls are not being picked

The issue was partially resolved though the people who came said they were only there for emergencies and not liable for other things. Therefore we would still like them to come through to complete the work.

Problem has persisted

My complain is about Zesco billing system why should I pay for the same month twice and why back date the payments. Everytime a current bill is paid plus part of the arrea the bill still goes up instead of reducing. E. g closing balance of a particular month is supposed to be the opening balance of the current month but you people you always keep increasing the opening balance. I need help before I report to higher offices

Low voltage
